Dr. Edgar Asatryan

Dr. Edgar Asatryan is a medical doctor and maxillofacial surgeon with experience in emergency medicine, trauma care, cardiovascular support, sports medicine, and surgical treatment of facial and jaw conditions. He currently provides emergency medical support with the European Union Mission in Armenia through PulsePoint while also working as a maxillofacial surgeon at Best Life Medical Center.

 

His clinical experience includes initial emergency assessment, first aid, patient stabilization, monitoring of medical equipment and supplies, and collaboration with multidisciplinary medical and emergency teams. In maxillofacial surgery, he is involved in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of facial, jaw, and oral conditions, including trauma, tumors, congenital deformities, fracture repair, reconstructive procedures, and dental implantation.

 

Dr. Asatryan has also worked in a cardiovascular department, where he monitored patients, supported emergency care, performed basic procedures, and assisted physicians with diagnosis and treatment. In addition, he has served as a team physician for FC Sardarapat and FC Pyunik U15 teams, providing athlete health monitoring, injury management, emergency care, rehabilitation supervision, return-to-play assessment, and injury-prevention support.

 

His education includes medical training in dentistry at Erebuni Medical University and ongoing residency training in maxillofacial surgery at Best Life Medical Center. He has also completed training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and Basic Life Support, as well as the Prehospital Trauma Life Support Provider course.
